I'm not one of the cool kids.
I don't wear cool stuff. If something I'm wearing is in fashion, its probably by coincidence. I used to dress edgier, now I am too self conscious about how I look to even try to draw attention to myself.
I don't say cool stuff. Normally when I talk to people my words get all jumbled and come out in the wrong order. I rarely explain myself well, because in my verbal 'paragraph' all the sentences come out backwards. I always forget to think before I speak.
I don't do cool stuff. I go to university. I go to debating. I come home. I go on Buzznet. I hang out at Richelle's. I go to work.
I don't listen to cool stuff. My taste in music is... abherrent to about 90% of society. I don't like any FBR bands, I thought Umbrella was a stupid song and I hate Katy Perry.
I don't have cool friends. My friends are nice, but oddballs. Except not really in a cool way, more a too-socially-retarded-to-find-anyone-else kind of way. My friends don't do cool things. They're boring like me.
I don't have any cool stories. I have done nothing in life. So far my life has been easy. I don't struggle; I have no great narrative. I have no story of my life. Just a poorly constructed series of loosely connected events with no plot line whatsoever (kind of like The Dark Knight!)
I don't make cool things. My photos are boring; they speak nothing about anything. They aren't... wow... they don't speak anything at all about humanity or who I am. My words never say enough, they leave too much to the reader, they get misinterpreted. My art is nothing special.
I don't date cool people. I've only had one 'boyfriend' (and I use that term loosely) and been asked out one other time.
I don't think about cool things. Mostly I day dream about love (why do I even need love to validify my existence?). I think about Buzznet. I think about things I wish I could say to people. Nothing ever results in much.
Everyone I used to be cooler than, is now cooler than me. Found their journey. Can actually communicate what they mean to other people. I'm still here; trying to make the fucking sense out out of anything; shooting myself in the foot with my character flaws, my social awkwardness, my lack of ability to dazzle anyone.

I am sick of this pressure. To feel like I am cool.
I'm sorry who I am isn't edgy or amazing or smart enough for you.

I'm a bit tired with Buzznet lately, like a piece of butter spread over too much bread.
I can;'t think of things to photograph anymore; my comments are bland and generic, I've just lost my jazz.
So I'm gonna head off for a while. I'll probably be around, trolling posts (I cant give up buzznet altogether!), but I just dont have it in me to comment/post anymore.

OH HAI BUZZNET!

With the gloriousness of Warped Tour coming to a close, its time to get preperations ready for next year.
Which of Buzznet's fabulously talented users should be the ones to get press-passes to send tid-bits of wonderful insider information and glorious photos of guitar-wielding Adonis to us back home, unable to attend?

Seeing as nominations for who gets a press-pass from Buzznet for Warped Tour '09 appear to be open, I have 4, very special Buzznetters in mind, that I would like to nominate =]

1) UnSceneUnHeard

A seasoned veteran of concert photography, Shiona has what I can only describe as "the eye" for live photography. Even with a point and shoot from behind the barrier, every one of her live shots comes out like a work of art.

PLus she comes with mad technical skillz to get her camera ready and able to shoot just about any live situation Warped Tour could throw at her.

2) MiseryxChord

Misery is what I like to refer to as Buzznet's very own International Woman of Mystery. One only needs to peruse her band photography account Miseryslifeofdoom to see her clear aptitude and skills for photography. God only knows the amount of pilfering of her AFI photos alone is a testament to the love people have for the way she captures her subject matter.

Plus it was her photos that got me into the Dear & Departed =]

Just get your eyeballs into this, and you will see what I mean.

3) xBlanksFace

Her Press Pass from '08 Warped Tour gave us all a taste of what total awesomeness Sara is able to achieve with a little time and a good camera. She networks with band members. She takes photos (and totally rocking photos at that!). And she gets phone numbers.

Sara is the whole package wrapped up in a neat little package with crimson hair and a pretty bow on top.

Or Gabe will eat your babies like hes eating that microphone.

4) TryingToFindTheWords

Watch out for her, she's a tiny photographic dynamo. Her best quality by far is the ability to capture perfect and interesting composition in the split second you have while trying to shoot a band member's pose. It's a skill many people simply dont have- there is so much more to photography than just clicking a button, and Savannah has what it takes.

Her concert photography skillz; let them dazzle you.

I'm bringing it back, because I need to rant.
9 out 10 of these people are Buzznetters also, so be paranoid.

1) YOU DON'T OWN BUZZNET!
You've been here all of ten minutes. Just because there are some people here who love everything you do, doesnt mean I have to. So please stop trolling and stepping on the admin's toes. Please.

2) YOU AREN'T ENTITLED TO ANYTHING!
I can't believe you had the audacity to do what you did. Then the audicity to censor anyone who didn't agree. You aren't entitled to anything, so stop acting like you are. Oh, and, your photography is shit. FYI.

3) Your code of morality is quickly becoming tiresome.
I don't understand why you can't deal with people disagreeing and being negative when you yourself are negative all the time.
Maybe I'm paranoid, but it always feels like you are taking a silent dig at me. Stop it.
Being a goody-two shoes doesn't you any respect from me. Sometimes you just have to learn to deal with honesty, even if its not what you want to hear.

4)You're a mysterious one, Mr Grinch.
Sometimes it drives me insane there is a part of you I will never know. Other times I love that it is part of your charm. Don't let the assholes get you down, don't become jaded like the way you are becoming. Don't hate the world because it would change the fantastic person you are.

5) I find great hilarity in the fact you don't like me, and had plans for my exit from Buzznet.
That's ok, I think you're boring.

6) I don't care that you don't like me.

7) I want to impress you constantly. Is it working?

8) Love? Not quite. But sometimes it feels close. She is all wrong for you, I am the one you need. I wish I could change the way you see me.

9) I can't wait.
Oh and also: please cheer up, it breaks my heart to see you down, you have everything to live for. You are adored, admired, and most of all loved. The negativity gets you down, and I see it, but it doesn't have to. People don't have to agree, you just have to keep being your sweet self and they'll come round. Even me, the most negative of them all. So chin up, blue skies are ahead. And keep next July empty.

I feel like such a stereotypical university student sometimes. The other day I was drinking cappuccino, eating a gourmet muffin and looking for books about marxism in the library. Trying to find books in the University library is an adventure in itself. Nothing is where it should be, rows mysteriously end, and whole sections of books are somewhere on the opposite end of the library. Apparently they are in the middle reorganising the library. Michael told me they've been doing that since before he was here though lol. Although to discount this motley tale, the reason I was drinking coffee (btw they have brilliant coffee here, none of this starbucks crap), was that i was on Buzznet til 4am the morning before spamming you all with Lolcats. Muffin- well i slept in due to foreamentioned lack of sleep and didnt have time for breakfast. Sudden interest in marxism- for an assessment about communism. Alas, my life revolves around studying and buzznet. But you all knew that already anyway? Which reminds me of another story. Yesterday I was mad because I had to park my car a million miles away from the uni (illegally for 3 hours in a 1 hour zone) and i was complaining about the walk and lack on parking on campus. Then I realised I was complaining because a) i have a car b) i have a university education. And things didnt seem so bad after all.
